Vision

• The vision of the Ministry is to ensure that the Public Sector of Seychelles is well-structured into Organisations that work in harmony, with due autonomy, accountability, efficiency and discipline. This is to be done within a sound enabling framework established and developed in consultation with all Organisations.
• In line with sustainable national development, it is the Ministry’s pursuit to equip the workforce with the requisite competencies it requires.

Mission

The Ministry has been given a mandate by the President, under Article 70 of the Constitution of the republic of Seychelles, to:

• Organise, develop and administer an efficient Public Service that is responsive to the needs of the Government and the public it serves, and in which equity, quality, loyalty and the pursuit of excellence are core values;
• Establish the necessary framework to monitor and assess human resources development needs in the context of national development.
